Salute the Troops
The Ice Hockey Club at Millersville University will Salute the Troops this Saturday the 17th of November at our game vs Susquehanna University. Game time is 5:45PM at Lancaster Ice Rink. Come out and show your support for our Troops and the team.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Salute the Troops Night, will celebrate our veterans and armed forces who sacrifise everday for our country. We will be having a baked sale, raffles, as well as doing activities that will give back to those amazing men and women across the sea.Make a Christmas Card – A station will be set up for children, students, or parents to create a card and send it across the ocean!
Bring a gift – We will be donating gifts; basketballs, footballs, hot hands, pinatas to the troops as well. We want their holiday season to be as homey as possible.The 17th, is only the beginning. On December 1st, our next home game, we will be celebrating our send off. It is the final day to hand in cards, supplies etc. Please come join us! It is going to be an amazing evening!
